From silence to a voice

Born on the frontline.
Built for the table.

APS Voice began with a simple belief: the people who protect the workplace every day should have a genuine voice in the decisions that shape their working lives.

“From being spoken about
to speaking for ourselves.”
IndependenceTransparencyInclusionProfessionalism
01

A voice is founded

APS Voice held its first General Meeting, adopted its Statute and Code of Conduct, and committed to independence, transparency, inclusion and professionalism.

02

Frontline experience becomes evidence

Security Officers turned everyday operational knowledge into five clear priorities, supported by data, practical solutions and a formal Log of Claim.

03

A seat at the table

Across six Security Working Groups, APS Voice advocated for classification, fair pay, first aid recognition, safer access and stable working conditions.

04

The agreement enters into force

A dedicated L1–L5 Security pathway, improved rates and updated conditions became part of the new Enterprise Agreement. The work of listening and representing continues.
